XS vs. Red Bull

Filed under: Health, Life, Red Bull, Vitamin, XS Energy Drink — lifegame @ 6:44 am

Probably less then 1 tenth of my audience has heard of XS energy drinks. And I can guarantee that everybody who comes across this page has heard of Red Bull energy drinks.  But the fact still remains that Red Bull is number 1 in energy drink sales and XS is number 2. Even know XS does not do media advertising. Where as every month they come out with a new Red Bull cartoon advertisement.

Go to fullsize image Go to fullsize image

Have you ever just sat down and really compared the 2? What comes into play when comparing a energy drink? For starters you have calories, sugars, carbs, vitamins, oh yea and taste! How does it taste?

Now I could bore you with straight facts on what’s exactly in them, but there is a chart below that tells you that bellow. What I would like to tell you is about my experience with the two. Now ever since I first heard of energy drinks there was always Red Bull. At first I thought it was some sort of alcoholic beverage. Then I started working the grave yard shift for a security company (Never again I own my own business, ask me how you could also) and it was getting hard for me to stay up. So I started of with a Red Bull. Which was fine for some time, then after a month 1 wasn’t getting the job done (I fell asleep driving a security golf car, crashed into a stop sign). I wanted to try other energy drinks, so next was Rock Star which had a bigger can. I quickly graduated to 2 of those a night. Too much money was being spent so I went back to 3 Red Bulls.

I have never heard of XS energy drinks at that time (XS does not sell out of walk in stores only online stores). But now that I have access to XS I will never go back to Red Bull. Red Bull has the worst after taste of all the energy drinks. XS actually taste good and has far more vitamins then other energy drinks. No crabs No sugars in my opinion XS has Red Bull beat hands down. Plus they have a great selection of flavors. I challenge you to take the XS Red Bull Challenge.

But if they do not sell in stores where will you be able to find XS energy drinks? Easy try my store, and you can buy at my other store. Both have XS energy drinks for sale along with other products, maybe one may be easier to navigate for different people.

Need some more solid proof visit some reviews:

Here is bevnet.com where they have reviews on all the different types of drinks. Also search for Red Bull to see how they did.

Here is bandddesigns.com where they have a lot of different comments/ reviews.

Here is RateItAll.com they also have a lot of comments/ reviews.

That’s not good enough for you go to Yahoo and search “XS energy drink reviews”

There are two stores that you should bye you energy drinks from they are:

And thats my store you can comment here to find out more or call tollfree 877.392.2759

Tip- to Build Blog Traffic

Filed under: Blog Carnival, Blogging — lifegame @ 7:39 pm

What is a Blog Carnival?

I am a brand new user of a website called www.blogcarnival.com/bc/, not only am I new to the Blog Carnival but I’m a completely new blogger. I have only been “blogging ” for about a month now seriously. The Blog Carnival has been a great way for me to build my traffic being as I am a newbie still. It’s almost like an open night at a comedy club or poetry club, where anybody can get a chance to get up and show what they are working with.  For example you should check me out on the ” Carnival of Sports “. My blog ” Best of People/Health/Fitness” will be appearing in the Fourth Edition of ” Carnival of Sports “. If you would like to check out the order in which my blog will be shown, please click here

Okay now let me brake it down to you exactly what a Blog Carnival is.

First of all let’s think of a blog carnival as basically a type of event. If you think of a magazine, you have articles telling about events published on a regular basis (weekly or monthly), and is dedicated to a parcicular topic. Typically you have a person who wants to organize the carnival, will post the info about his or her carnival on his or her blog. Then he or she will be asking readers to submit there blogs for an up coming edition to his carnival. Some times bloggers will try and submit blogs that have nothing to do with the carnival’s topic. The carnival owner will not select them and might speak badly on your part for spamming.

An interesting fact I read on www.Wikipedia.com :

“The earliest blog carnival, so named, was the Carnival of the Vanities, announced at the Silflay Hraka blog in September, 2002″

Are you really interested in Blogging? Here are some blogs that may help you become the best blogger you could be. A good friend of mine Pat Kitano is the person that introduced me to blogging. He has a ” How to start blogging series” which I found to be very helpful. Here is the 1st blog 2nd blog 3rd blog 4th blog 5th blog 6th blog in the series.

How to Make Money From Your Blog by Steve Pavlina, this is one of the first blogs that I ever read. It is a very long blog but I do believe if you read this blog it will put you in the mind set that you have to be in to become a succesful blogger.

There is a guy that has a site called Problogger.net. He is constantly coming up with new ways to create Money on blogs Traffic on blogs and all sorts of helpfull hints/tricks. Here is some of his blogs What is a blog?. How Bloggers Make Money from Blogs Blogging for Beginners

History of Nutrilite

Filed under: Health, Nutrilite — lifegame @ 7:36 pm

history

One Man, Carl F. Rehnborg

Prior to 1934, there were no known multivitamin/multimineral supplements. People found it difficult to know if they were getting enough nutrients in their daily diets.

Then, Carl Rehnborg, founder of the NUTRILITE™ brand, created his first nutrition product – and became a pioneer in the history of nutrition.

Carl Rehnborg, founder of NUTRILITE products

His Dream

While living in China in the early 1920s, Carl Rehnborg noticed, amid unforgettable malnutrition and disease, an important connection between the foods people ate and their overall health.

Fruits and vegetables for Nutrilite vitamin mineral supplements

  • In farming communities, where fresh fruits and vegetables were plentiful, people were much healthier overall.
  • In the cities, where diets included far more sugar, salt, and fat, Carl noted that there were many more instances of critical diseases, such as scurvy and beriberi.

During political unrest in Shanghai, Carl was isolated in a protected enclave. There, he conceived the idea of using nutritional elements missing from the typical diet as a way to improve overall health.

  • Carl supplemented his meager diet with soups from what was available: local herbs, grasses, and vegetables, along with rusty nails (for iron), and lime stone and ground-up animal bones (for calcium).
  • He shared his broth with a few friends, although the flavor was far from palatable.
  • Months later, Carl and his friends who ate the nutrient-rich broth emerged from their enclave much healthier than those who had eaten only army rations.

Returning to the United States, Carl set up a small laboratory on California’s Balboa Island, where, over the next six years, he conducted experiments using different plant varieties.

  • He developed a way to dry these plants while still preserving their important nutrients.
  • He created a formulation of alfalfa, watercress, and parsley, which became the basis of his first product.

Ultimately, Carl Rehnborg created the first multivitamin/multimineral supplement sold in North America.

Our Legacy

Since 1934, when the first NUTRILITE product was introduced, the company has become a leader in nutrition research, development, and innovation.

Today, under the leadership of Carl’s son, Dr. Sam Rehnborg, the next generation of scientists, researchers, and technicians is preserving the rich Nutrilite heritage – by continuing to produce high quality, innovative supplements.

Because they are made from whole plant concentrates, many NUTRILITE supplements contain a wide array of phytonutrients.

Throughout his life, Carl Rehnborg believed this was the optimum way to achieve good nutrition – the way nature intended.

Manufacturing operations in Buena Park, California, and Guangzhou, China, produce up to 10 billion NUTRILITE tablets, capsules and softgel capsules annually.

Word of the wise part I

Filed under: Personal Development, Wisdom — lifegame @ 7:34 pm

Here is a list of various “words of wisdom quotes” as I refer to them. They are designed to help you live a happier, healthier, productive life. I made a few of my own comments. But I wish that you the reader would comment your views/ believes as the reader on this list.

Love your work then you will find pleasure in mastering it.

• Appreciate the many things that make your life so valuable.

I have found that a lot of people take for granted what they have, seeking more. When they have everything that need already.

• Act the part and you will become the part.

With time you can become anything you want to be you just have to associate your self that “being” exactly how that “being” would associate themselves everyday. Eventually you will be what you so desire.

• Don’t wait for the ideal time to do something.

Some people have many ideas and never pursue there ideas. Thus never having the reward of adding a piece of them to society.

• Be afraid of only standing still.

I think that one should continue to move forward, self development. Continue to educate themselves, strive to do more. This will ultimately help themselves to accomplish more goals that they never imagined they could accomplish before.

• Plan your work and work your plan.

In my own opinion I think that the number one reason that people don’t reach their goals is because. Well its not that they plan to fail its that they fail to plan ahead of time. One should every day take time to revaluate ones plans. Always go forth with putting your plans into action,Implementation

• It takes money to make money.

This is true but it is always important to make wise decisions on which investments are going to give you better returns. Always weigh your options.

• One who cannot tolerate small ills can never accomplish great things.

I think that you should never let the little things get to you. It’s really a waste of time. There are far more productive things that you can be doing.

• Make decisions based on the whole picture.

A lot of times we as humans fail to understand what is really going on. We need to take more time on certain things. And make the smart decision rather than the quick decision.

 • Education is the most important aspect of society.

The way I see it you can never put a price on education. It is without a doubt the greatest investment you could ever invest in. Whether be time or money that you put down.

• Regularly examine your motives.

Do not fail to do this with every decision that you make. You must always ask your self why? Remember there is always a reason for everything regardless. The question here is it a good reason.

• Do something of your own design.

Most of us (humans) have always been original. That is why we have developed so much as a race. But that also means that we will not continue to grow for the future if we continue to use the same old ideas. Don’t give up on your own ideas and dreams.

• Do not become angry with people who do not agree with your opinion.

If you let other people get to you then you are not strong yourself. Don’t worry about what the spectators say. Focus on the ultimate goal and what you have to do to reach that goal.

• Leave nothing for tomorrow that you can do today.

I think that we always need to concentrate on the present. But don’t forget that the future is coming; plan for it at the same time. Do as much as you can with each and every day. You have to crawl before you can walk.

• There is no time like the present.

This is similar to the previous quote. There are many opportunities that pass our way ever day. It’s up to us to decide weather we want to act or wait. The question will.

• The important thing is not the triumph but the struggle.

To me this is very true. A lot of times it’s not where you’re at but how you got there. If you are doing great things chances are that you struggled to get there.

• Read as much as you can.

This will play a huge role in molding you into whom you are. Like I said before you can not put a price on education, in this case you cannot put a price on knowledge. The value is far more worth what you had to do to gain. So love books people.

• Sometimes things that hurt, Teach.

With that being said, I wanted to add that when you learn things through pain. It is the best way of learning it. Remember it’s the value in the end.

• Teaching someone to do something is like relearning it yourself.

At this point in your life you have definitely taught something to someone before. Not only did you remind your self how it works but you updated the “course” on when or how you learned it. The update was to add any shortcuts more efficient ways that you picked up with time. With that being said you may have even picked up something new that you did not recognize with before. Also if you think about it the reason that we teach is that one day the student will have more knowledge than the teacher.

• Weakness breads evil.

If someone is weaker then another person then that may lead to hate which will lead to evil.

• Every day is a clean slate.

I’m not sure that I agree with this to much, as your prior actions do have an effect on today in some cases. If you have any further opinions on this one please feel free to make a comment.

• Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

It is true we must always ask for help it is key for you to accomplish your goals. But don’t get me wrong I’m one of those people that does not really ask for help. I think it’s more of a pride thing. I definitely will start utilizing this tool more often now.

• Surround yourself with people who are more intelligent than you.

With the last quote it is telling you to ask questions basically. What if the people that you turn to do not know the answers? In this case you are the one answering the questions. If you surround yourself with people who are more intelligent then you, you will be forced to grow. Think about a baby, from birth until five the baby is with his mother. And from just being around her the baby will learn more rapidly in this first five years then any other five year period in his/her life. Possible even a ten year period, but that’s just my opinion.

• Do it better the second time around.

Even if you didn’t fail the first time. There is always room for improvement the second time around. You must try for self improvement, and never disregard your mistakes.

• Experience creates knowledge.

Self explanatory

• Hold yourself at a higher standard.

Do not ever belittle yourself, and always do the best you can. Dream big because if you don’t then who will.                                                                               -Jonathan Vida
